Schwarzkopf Freshlight Foam Color ♥ Berry Ash ♥ Review

If you guys have followed me on my Instagram, you must have known that i bring back my ash color again by using Schwarzkopf Freshlight Foam Color "Berry Ash" which has saved me from my orange-yellowish hair..

Before

Because i can't purchased Schwarzkopf Freshlight Foam Color at any store in Medan, i decided to buy it online at GUDANGMALL.. It was said that they don't market it in Indonesia anymore because of the selling problems or maybe it was discontinued product already (i'm not sure)..

Things you should prepare

So, you will need to prepare :

♥ Schwarzkopf Freshlight Foam Color " Berry Ash "
♥ Plastic Cover (i got it from etude foam color)

to cover your clothes from foam-dripping

♥ Rubber Band

♥ Facial Cotton
to wipe stained area

♥ Spike Comb
 to easily divide your hair

♥ Hair Clips

♥ Plastic Wrapper
 to wrap your whole hair after applying all the foam color

Actually, to get ash color you will need to go bleach first because ash color will not work on you dark hair color.. I don't suggest you to do bleaching yourself, so just visit the hair salon that u trusted can bleach your hair without damaging it to hard.. I ever heard that a bleaching product called OLAPLEX is good and it was the one my hair stylist applied on my hair last time.. And it was proven that my hair condition is still like the time before i bleached it..

Orange-Yellowish Hair

In case if your hair has already grow from the time you last bleached and the real color of your hair has already seen, then you need to do touch-up first at hair salon before applying ash color because as i said before it won't work on your darker hair color. Unless you are OK with that pudding hair..

Mix these two bottle

Basically you just need to mix the hair color liquid to developer bottle and shake it well. After that change the cap to the pump cap that you can pump the foam out and apply it onto your hair. Since my hair is short, i only used half of them and save half for my next maintainance. Remember that if you already mix them all together just use it all.. But if u want to save it like what i did, just save it separately and close the bottle tight so that the hydrogen peroxide (hair color bottle) doesn't evaporated..

Pump out the foam.. yay~ can't wait for my ash color

Divide your hair little by little using the spike comb

By using spike comb, divide your hair little by little and tie the rest up using your rubber band. Put the foam color onto it. Do it over and over again until finish.. I prefer this technique rather than rub it like using shampoo because i think the color was more evenly distributed when i used this technique. So, just do what you comfort to do.. You can choose to follow my technique or just rub the foam all over your hair like using shampoo till the foam run out..

Cover and wipe stained area

Take the plastic wrapper (food plastic wrapper) to cover all your hair (i learned from the previous hair salon, they did this to me) and let it for 30minutes. You can wipe all the stained area using facial cotton and sit nicely now until it done..

Wash your hair with shampoo and apply the after color treatment then let it for another 15minutes..
